I feel like when I've gone to church when a child in NY, it always seemed like I was only "going through the motions". I would remember over and over again saying/singing what seemed to be a (drawn out hymnal) version of Doxology- It never did anything for me! I was not able to feel the closeness to God in those early years. I am so thankful that my walk with Christ has blossomed wonderfully in my life!-and that He places me where He knows I'll mostly feel his presence. Our voices during praise choir practice brings our Lord so Divine to us and I feel now the true meaning behind New Doxology- and it is literally New for me.
It brings me great pleasure that our Lord can hear us simultaneously praising His name- and perhaps hearing us all - in a NEW light created for HIM and bound for greatness!
In Jesus name- I praise Him for He is my Savior Indeed! New Doxology!
